Kitch Wilson is the San Francisco-based Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Rosebud Biosciences, as well as a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund. A physician-scientist and molecular pathologist holding both an MD and a PhD from Duke University, he previously spent six years operating as an attending physician and clinical instructor at Stanford University between 2014 and 2020. Wilson brings over 16 years of specialized research experience merging human induced pluripotent stem cells with advanced genomic and molecular technologies to his current entrepreneurial ventures. At Rosebud Biosciences, an early-stage biotechnology startup backed by Y Combinator, he currently leads a three-person team developing scalable, automated organoid models for therapeutic development. His primary professional focus remains centered on advancing precision pediatric drug discovery and generating human-relevant clinical data to effectively treat rare genetic diseases in children.
