Kevin Xie

Kevin Xie is an AI Researcher and Evals Builder at Soren AI, where he focuses on developing large-scale evaluations to enhance artificial intelligence reliability. He previously studied artificial intelligence and mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before leaving the institution at age 19 to transition directly into the commercial technology sector. During his academic tenure, Xie co-authored two published research papers alongside Harvard University scholars and contributed to projects aimed at improving magnetic resonance imaging techniques. He subsequently gained industry recognition by building one of the world's largest large language model benchmarks and identifying critical new vulnerabilities within Chain-of-Thought reasoning systems. A former top 150 nationally ranked tennis player and a recognized Neo Scholar Finalist, Xie currently dedicates his career to advancing machine learning research and building robust evaluation frameworks for complex AI models.
