Kevin Tang

Kevin Tang is a software engineer and infrastructure architect based in San Francisco, California. He previously worked as a software engineer at Two Sigma, where he architected and built core service infrastructure for the firm's modeling, trading, and engineering teams. During his tenure, Tang developed distributed systems capable of scaling to approximately 10,000 CPUs and 1PB of RAM. He initially began his programming career as a self-taught high school student developing games on the Roblox platform, creating a front-page title that reached 2,000 concurrent players. Outside of his professional work, he resides in the NEMA building near Market and Van Ness, and he actively participates in local sports by playing pickup basketball at the Mission Rec Center. Tang's professional background centers on designing high-scale technical infrastructure and distributed systems for quantitative finance and technology applications.
