Keisha Lao is the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of MadEats, a delivery-only food technology startup based in Metro Manila, Philippines. She established the ghost kitchen operator in November 2020 after leaving her previous corporate role to develop and manage multiple in-house digital restaurant concepts, including Yang Gang, Chow Time, and Dot Coffee. Under her product leadership, the enterprise participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2021 accelerator batch, securing an initial $125,000 early-stage venture investment. Lao subsequently helped the company raise a $1.7 million seed funding round backed by a syndicate of prominent angel investors, including Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen, to fund further regional expansion. Her current professional focus centers on scaling full-stack food technology operations, expanding cloud kitchen infrastructure, and optimizing the customer delivery experience across the rapidly growing Philippine e-commerce market.
