Katon Luaces is a software engineer and the founder of PointOne, a business-to-business software company focused on automating timekeeping and billing processes for legal professionals. Prior to establishing his current venture, he worked at Google, where he contributed to the development and scaling of a specialized legal technology product. Following his tenure at the technology conglomerate, Luaces transitioned to Applied Intuition, a startup specializing in advanced mobility software and infrastructure. During his time there, he engineered a comprehensive verification and validation platform designed specifically to test and deploy autonomous vehicle systems. He subsequently returned to the legal technology sector to launch PointOne, aiming to eliminate manual administrative workflows for modern law firms. His current focus centers on combining his enterprise software engineering background with workflow automation to optimize billing operations across the legal industry.
