Katia Bazzi

Katia Bazzi currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Vibe, a Y Combinator-backed software development startup located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to her current executive role, she worked as an engineering leader at Stripe, where she directed the technical launch of new financial products including corporate credit cards and banking-as-a-service platforms. Under her direct technical leadership, these core financial infrastructure products successfully scaled to process more than $6 billion in annual payment volume. Earlier in her career, Bazzi managed software engineering teams at the distributed tracing startup Lightstep and the global ticketing platform Eventbrite. Before entering the commercial technology industry, she completed her formal education and graduated with a degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Her professional background centers on scaling complex distributed systems, developing high-volume financial technology infrastructure, and building advanced developer tools.
