Kathryn Cross

Kathryn Cross is the Founder of Anja Health, a maternal health technology company based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2021, the startup provides accessible cord blood, tissue, and placenta stem cell banking services and participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2022 batch. Under her leadership, Anja Health secured a $4.5 million seed funding round in May 2022 led by Alexis Ohanian's venture firm, Seven Seven Six. Before launching her current venture, Cross founded the management consultancy Bridge Strategy and held professional roles at Goldman Sachs and the MIT Research Lab. The Wellesley College graduate also manages a dedicated social media community, educating hundreds of thousands of followers about pregnancy and stem cell preservation. Her current focus centers on scaling her healthtech operations to expand nationwide access to affordable cord blood banking for future medical treatments.
