Before joining S2G Ventures in 2017, Kate Danaher built a robust career in impact investing and finance. She served as a Senior Investment Director at RSF Social Finance, where she managed a substantial portfolio of loans to social enterprises primarily focused on sustainable food, agriculture, and renewable energy. This experience provided her with a deep understanding of the operational and financial needs of mission-driven businesses. Earlier in her career, Kate worked at JPMorgan Chase, gaining valuable experience in private banking and corporate finance. Her diverse background equips her with a unique perspective, blending traditional financial acumen with a profound commitment to sustainability. Kate holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.

While at S2G Ventures, Kate has been instrumental in shaping the firm's portfolio. She serves on the board of directors for several impactful S2G portfolio companies, including AquaBounty Technologies, a pioneer in sustainable aquaculture, and BlueNalu, a leader in cell-cultured seafood.
