Kasey Zhang

Kasey Zhang is the CEO of Osmosis.ai, an artificial intelligence startup founded in 2024 that develops reinforcement learning infrastructure for AI agents. Under his leadership, the company has raised $7 million in funding from prominent investors including Y Combinator, CRV, Audacious Ventures, and Paul Graham. Osmosis.ai focuses on fine-tuning open-source models such as Llama, Mistral, and Gemma to outperform standard foundation models. Prior to his current role, Zhang worked in venture capital evaluating early-stage artificial intelligence and data investments, having previously spent two years operating a gaming startup that culminated in a successful acquisition. Outside of his technology career, he is a classically trained pianist who has performed at Carnegie Hall, and he currently leverages his diverse entrepreneurial and investment experience to build specialized infrastructure for the next generation of artificial intelligence applications.
