Kanishka Maheshwari is the Founder of Kanishka Ventures and an active advisor and investor in artificial intelligence startups based in San Francisco, California. With a technical engineering background in machine learning and software development, he previously founded and led multiple AI startups before transitioning to early-stage venture investing. Through his personal investment vehicle, Maheshwari has backed more than ten early-stage companies, maintaining professional affiliations with the Y Combinator alumni network, the AI Grant program, and Gradient Ventures. In the first quarter of 2025, he led a seed investment in an AI coding assistant startup and recently presented on infrastructure trends at the San Francisco TechCrunch Disrupt conference.
