Justin Torre

Justin Torre is a software engineer and technology entrepreneur joining Mintlify in San Francisco following the acquisition of his previous startup, Helicone. Torre co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Helicone, an open-source large language model observability platform that launched in 2023 and participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2023 batch. Prior to the acquisition by Mintlify, he scaled the generative artificial intelligence infrastructure company to a five-person team focused on providing analytics and tooling for developers. Earlier in his eight-year software development career, he built innovative software infrastructure and served as a developer evangelist and teacher at Apple. He holds a computer science degree from Northeastern University, where he initially developed his technical foundation. Torre currently focuses on building advanced software infrastructure and observability tools for developers working with artificial intelligence applications.
