Juan Chomali

Juan Chomali is a Chilean technology entrepreneur currently serving as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Polo. Prior to launching the software company in May 2022, he worked as a Quantitative Strategist Analyst at Goldman Sachs from June 2021 to January 2023. Educated as a mechanical engineer and an economist, Chomali previously served as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Michigan, where his work on droplet dynamics led to a published paper in PNAS. A programmer since the age of 12, his early career included roles in innovation and research at Option, as well as developing Boreal, an independent iPhone client for Hacker News. His current focus centers on building specialized SaaS products, specifically developing dynamic menu software for restaurants and coffee shops across Latin America through the Y Combinator Winter 2023 cohort.
