Juan Castaño

Juan Castaño is the Co-founder and CEO of Benchify, a healthcare technology startup based in San Francisco, United States. Founded in 2024 and backed by Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch, his four-person software company builds executable contracts for healthcare audits and claim processing. Prior to Benchify, he initiated a growth product team at Klaviyo during its pre-IPO phase and developed go-to-market strategies for Instawork at the Series C stage. His earlier career includes advising on venture due diligence at McKinsey & Company, building minimum viable products for over nine clients as a UI/UX designer, and successfully flipping a business for a 5x multiple on invested capital. Castaño holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and studied Economics and Human-centered design at Dartmouth College, underpinning his current focus on scaling healthcare technology through product growth and strategic design.
