Joshua Belofsky

Joshua Belofsky is the founder of General Trajectory, an applied artificial intelligence research company focused on solving complex, long-horizon tasks within the physical world. Prior to establishing this applied AI enterprise, he gained foundational experience serving as a machine learning researcher at the NASA Ames Research Center and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) during his undergraduate studies. As a recent university graduate, his academic and professional research centers primarily on developing generally capable artificial intelligence agents and advanced reasoning systems for industrial robotics. He also recently contributed to the field through the pre-print publication of NitroGen: A Foundation Model for Generalist Gaming Agents, highlighting his expertise in training versatile digital models. Belofsky currently focuses on bridging academic machine learning research with practical commercial applications to build general artificial intelligence systems for industrial robotics applications.
