Joseph Femi Aghedo

Joseph Femi Aghedo is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Grey, a fintech startup based in Lagos, Nigeria. Drawing from his background as a remote developer, he established the cross-border payment platform in 2020 alongside co-founder Idorenyin Obong to address international banking challenges for freelancers in emerging markets. Under his operational leadership, the company participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2022 batch and subsequently secured a $2 million seed funding round to accelerate its international growth. Aghedo has guided the neobank's expansion to hundreds of thousands of users across regions including East Africa, Brazil, Mexico, and Indonesia, while securing regulatory licenses from FINTRAC in Canada and FinCEN in the United States. His current focus remains on scaling digital banking infrastructure and multi-currency management systems to facilitate seamless global transactions for remote workers.
