Jordan Lee

Jordan Lee is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Backer and the CEO of Savingforcollege.com, based in San Francisco, California. In February 2023, he successfully led Backer's acquisition of Savingforcollege.com, consolidating a fintech platform that has helped families save tens of millions of dollars for education. Under his leadership, the company secured a substantial investment from a fund managed by WndrCo in December 2023 to expand its collaborative 529 college savings products. Before launching Backer, Jordan Lee served as a Product Manager at ClearSlide from 2013 to 2015 and was the co-founder and CEO of Collections between 2012 and 2013. His diverse academic background includes degrees and research positions at Harvard University, Princeton University, Yale University, and the Brookings Institution, shaping his focus on scaling consumer wealthtech solutions that modernize traditional education savings plans.
