Jonathan Jenkins

Jonathan Jenkins is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Misprint, a graded trading card marketplace backed by Y Combinator. Prior to launching this specialized e-commerce platform, the mathematician and trading card enthusiast earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University. He subsequently pursued a doctorate focused entirely on theoretical machine learning, authoring numerous published academic papers that addressed complex high-dimensional machine learning problems. Jenkins ultimately left his doctoral research program to pivot directly from academia into tech entrepreneurship. He participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2025 batch to oversee all technical development and software engineering for his new startup. His current focus centers on applying his extensive academic expertise in predictive analytics to build advanced pricing models and robust technical infrastructure for the broader collectibles market.
