Jonathan Chávez

Jonathan Chávez is the Co-Founder of ZeroEval, an artificial intelligence startup participating in Y Combinator's S25 batch, and is currently based in New York, New York. Previously, he served as an early employee on the LLM Observability team at Datadog and completed software engineering internships at Google. He brings nine years of coding experience to his ventures, having worked as the first engineer at Atrato, where he helped launch its inaugural loan product, and as an early software engineer at the acquired startup Bemmbo. Chávez earned a bachelor's degree in systems engineering and computer science from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he conducted academic research utilizing Vision Transformers for particle physics classification on CERN platforms. His professional background and current focus center on developing practical, auditable machine learning infrastructure and AI-powered solutions for modern enterprise applications.
