Jon Dahl

Jon Dahl is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mux, a developer-focused video infrastructure platform, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Before establishing his current enterprise, he co-founded Zencoder, a cloud video encoding startup that was subsequently acquired by Brightcove for approximately $30 million in August 2012. Following this transaction, he served as Vice President of Technology at Brightcove, leveraging his extensive prior experience working as a software engineer and cloud systems architect. At Mux, Dahl has guided the company to a valuation exceeding $1 billion, highlighted by a $105 million Series D funding round in April 2021 supported by prominent venture capital firms including Andreessen Horowitz and Y Combinator.
