John Rising

John Rising is the co-founder and CEO of Stackup, an enterprise digital asset management platform based in Culver City, California. Founded in 2021, the Y Combinator-backed company recently secured a $4.2 million seed round led by 1kx to simplify cryptocurrency operations for businesses. Prior to this venture, he developed blockchain infrastructure utilized by major industry players including Trust Wallet and Coinbase. Before entering the Web3 sector, Rising served as the Head of Rocket Engineering and first employee at Relativity Space, helping scale the aerospace manufacturer to a $4 billion valuation. His earlier career includes engineering and mission management roles at SpaceX and Virgin Galactic, complemented by a master's degree from MIT and a bachelor's degree from USC.
