Joel Ritossa

Joel Ritossa is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Duckie, an artificial intelligence customer support platform for B2B SaaS companies, based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2023 alongside Valerie Li, the four-employee startup participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2024 cohort to accelerate its product development. As Chief Technology Officer, Ritossa manages customer data environments and oversees the implementation of AI monitoring tools like AIMon to replace traditional evaluation systems. Prior to launching Duckie, he worked as an AI Software Engineer at the publicly traded enterprise software company C3 AI, building foundational machine learning solutions. He earned a degree in Computer Science from Princeton University, graduating as part of the class of 2020. Ritossa's professional background centers on infrastructure engineering, with a current focus on leveraging enterprise artificial intelligence to automate complex technical support operations.
