Jim Robeson

Jim Robeson is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of PiinPoint, a location analytics and retail site selection platform headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario. Since launching the SaaS company in 2014, he has scaled the platform to analyze more than 250,000 commercial real estate locations for Fortune 500 customers worldwide. Robeson developed the initial concept for the business while completing his Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology at the University of Waterloo in 2012. He subsequently guided the startup through the Y Combinator Winter 2014 batch and secured backing from entities including Creative Destruction Lab, Velocity Incubator, and Garage Capital. Prior to his graduate studies, he earned business administration degrees from Laurentian University and St. Lawrence College. His current focus centers on advancing PropTech and spatial data analytics to optimize retail site selection and corporate expansion strategies.
