Prior to his tenure at NIBR, Dr. Springhorn honed his business development skills at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where he served as a Director. His earlier career also includes positions at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, contributing to various aspects of drug development and corporate strategy. His foundational scientific training includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Brandeis University, and a B.A. in Chemistry from Wesleyan University, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the scientific landscape.
