JEEVAN JUTLA

Jeevan Jutla is the Co-Founder and CEO of Gecko Security, a cybersecurity startup based in San Francisco, CA. Founded in 2024 with a two-person team, the company participated in the Y Combinator Fall 2024 batch to develop static application security testing software combining large language models with human penetration testing techniques. Previously, Jutla served as a security researcher for United Kingdom intelligence agencies GCHQ and MI5, building automated security tools for critical infrastructure and setting a standing cohort record for the highest binary exploitation score. Before his intelligence career, he held a role at EWOR and co-developed machine learning tools for vulnerability research three years ahead of similar public efforts. Recognized globally as a top 500 competitive hacker, his current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to automate the detection and remediation of software code vulnerabilities.
