Jawad Iqbal

Jawad Iqbal is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Delineate, an artificial intelligence startup based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 2024 alongside Chief Executive Officer Emily Nieves, the company participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2025 batch and has grown to a 20-person team. In his current role, Iqbal oversees the technical development of an AI-driven insights platform designed to optimize clinical trial design for the biopharma industry. Previously, he spent over five years at Lockheed Martin, where he served as a technical project manager within the Skunkworks advanced development division and led high-impact digital transformation initiatives. He holds a master's degree with a thesis focused on robotics and artificial intelligence, contributing to two published research papers in the field. His career centers on applying advanced machine learning to complex enterprise challenges across the aerospace and biopharmaceutical sectors.
