Jason Traff

Jason Traff is the President and Co-founder of Shipwell, a cloud-based transportation management system platform located in Austin, Texas. Founded in 2016, the venture-backed logistics company connects enterprise shippers and third-party logistics providers with a centralized network of over 500,000 carrier partners. Prior to Shipwell, he co-founded Leaky, an insurtech startup backed by Y Combinator that generated over $300 million in insurance quotes, and CopyCat Paintings, a global art reproduction business employing more than 1,000 artists across four continents. Traff holds a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Under his leadership, Shipwell was named a Forbes Next Billion-Dollar Startup and recognized as a notable vendor in the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant. His current focus remains on scaling data-driven logistics automation and modernizing fragmented supply chain ecosystems.
