Jason Sylvestre

Jason Sylvestre is the cofounder and CEO of H3X Technologies, an electric propulsion manufacturer based in Louisville, Colorado. Under his leadership, the startup has grown to over fifty employees and secured more than $100 million in total funding, including a $33 million Series B round and a $20 million Department of Defense contract. The company develops megawatt-class electric motors achieving a certified power density of 20 kilowatts per kilogram, establishing strategic partnerships with the United States Air Force and NASA. Before launching H3X in 2020, Sylvestre previously worked as a Powertrain Integration Engineer at Tesla and served as a Propulsion Engineer at Specter Aerospace. He holds electrical engineering degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he built electric racecars, sparking his career advancing high-power-density motor design for the aerospace, defense, and electric vehicle sectors.
