Jason Cui

Jason Cui is a product leader at Karat Financial based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He previously served as the co-founder and chief executive officer of Jemi, a Y Combinator-backed website builder and e-commerce platform for creators that participated in the accelerator's Summer 2020 cohort. Cui led the three-employee startup through multiple early funding rounds before orchestrating its acquisition by Karat Financial in October 2023, subsequently transitioning to his current product role within the acquiring organization. Before launching his own venture, he worked as a product manager at Uber, where he focused on consumer product management initiatives. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Harvard University. Cui's professional background combines technical product management with a current focus on developing specialized fintech products and financial services tailored specifically for the creator economy.
