Jason Corwin

Jason Corwin is a Software Engineer at Rippling based in Millbrae, California. Previously, he was the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Safely Finance, a fintech startup he launched in 2019 with two employees and guided through the Y Combinator Summer 2019 batch. Corwin is a two-time Y Combinator alumnus, having also founded the telecommunications company TellFi during the accelerator's Winter 2011 program. His corporate background includes senior engineering and leadership roles at LendingClub, as well as technology consulting for major consumer brands such as Apple and MLB Advanced Media. He holds a computer engineering degree from Virginia Tech and began his professional career with technical positions at Westinghouse Electric Company and ITT Night Vision. With over eleven years of experience, his current focus remains on developing scalable software systems and building financial technology platforms.
