Jason Alvarez-Cohen is the co-founder and CEO of Popl, a digital business card and networking platform based in Los Angeles, California. Under his leadership, the B2B SaaS company has scaled to generate $10 million in annual recurring revenue and currently employs 36 full-time staff members. Alvarez-Cohen guided the startup through the Y Combinator Winter 2021 batch and successfully pitched the hardware-software integration on ABC's Shark Tank. Prior to establishing the enterprise software firm, he trained as a software engineer and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in the spring of 2018. His work in consumer technology and digital identity subsequently earned him a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2022. His current focus centers on expanding Popl's enterprise software capabilities to modernize professional networking and lead generation for large global teams.
