Jamil Nazarali

Jamil Nazarali is the Executive Chair of EDX Markets, an institutional digital asset exchange, and is based in the Greater New York City Area. Previously, he served as the Global Head of Business Development and Head of Execution Services at Citadel Securities, and the Global Head of Electronic Trading at Knight Capital Group. Under his leadership as CEO, EDX Markets launched its trading platform in June 2023 and closed a Series B funding round co-led by Sequoia Capital and Pantera Capital in January 2024. He has held prominent governance positions, including serving as Chairman of MEMX, a member of the SEC’s Equity Market Structure Advisory Committee, and a board member for BATS Holdings. Nazarali currently focuses on bridging traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets by developing non-custodial electronic trading structures for institutional investors.
