James Vuong

James Vuong is the Founder and CEO of Infina, a retail investing and wealth management platform based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The fintech company participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2021 batch and raised a $6 million seed round in February 2022 with backing from Sequoia Capital India. Prior to Infina, Vuong served as the CEO of Lana Group, a digital media startup that he guided to a successful acquisition by LINE Corp. Earlier in his career, he worked as a venture capitalist at IDG Ventures Vietnam, helping manage investments for the firm's inaugural $100 million fund. He was also selected as a Kauffman Fellow by the Kauffman Foundation. Vuong currently focuses on leveraging his engineering, product development, and venture capital expertise to scale high-growth technology startups across Southeast Asia.
