James Chen

James Chen is the Co-Founder of Zoltar Labs, a business-to-business technology startup, and is currently based in Hong Kong SAR. In his current operational role, he actively drives strategic growth, process improvement, and execution while managing a growing team of approximately nine employees. Under his leadership, the company advanced its enterprise development by participating in a Summer 2022 accelerator cohort to refine its core offerings. Prior to entering the technology sector, Chen built a career in traditional financial services, working as an investment banker at major global institutions including Citi and Barclays. His academic background includes earning an undergraduate degree from Cornell University before subsequently attending and later dropping out of the Wharton School to pursue his startup ventures. Chen currently focuses on leveraging his institutional finance expertise to build and scale early-stage business-to-business software companies.
