Jakub Krzych

Jakub Krzych is the CEO and Co-Founder of Estimote, Inc., a location intelligence and Bluetooth beacon technology company based in Kraków, Poland. Since establishing the enterprise in 2012, he guided the firm through the Y Combinator accelerator and secured over $14 million in venture funding from investors including Andreessen Horowitz. Under his leadership, Estimote developed an operating system for the physical world that is utilized by more than 50,000 developers for retail analytics and spatial computing applications. Previously, Krzych co-founded the advertising automation startup AdTaily in 2008, serving as a technology strategist before its acquisition by the Polish media conglomerate Agora SA in 2009. He holds degrees in computational physics and applied computer science from Jagiellonian University, underpinning his ongoing focus on building sensor-based hardware and software solutions for the Internet of Things.
