Jake Stevens

Jake Stevens is the Co-Founder of Luminal, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in April 2025 and backed by Y Combinator, Luminal recently raised $5.3 million to develop a compiler that automatically generates GPU kernels for machine learning optimization across diverse hardware platforms. Before launching his current venture, Stevens served as the Head of Growth at Enovone, where he successfully scaled the software company's annual recurring revenue from $600,000 to nearly $5 million in total. His earlier entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding the startup Delight Rewards, which culminated in a successful corporate exit, alongside specialized engineering roles such as a Camera Architecture Intern at Apple. A Rochester Institute of Technology alumnus, Stevens leverages his diverse engineering background to focus entirely on advancing machine learning hardware acceleration and scaling early-stage technology startups.
