JAKE GOLAS

Jake Golas is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Propaya, an artificial intelligence property management startup based in San Francisco, California. He leads the technical development of the company's lease abstraction and review platform, which officially launched in 2024 with a two-person team. Under his technical leadership, Propaya secured $500,000 in pre-seed funding and participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 accelerator batch. Before establishing his current venture alongside lifelong friend and co-founder Reader Wang, Golas worked as a full-stack software developer at healthcare software company Epic Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a degree he completed on an accelerated timeline of three and a half years. His current focus centers on building scalable systems and applying artificial intelligence to automate commercial real estate workflows and property management operations.
