Jaihee Kim

Jaihee Kim is the Co-Founder of Aleph Lab, an educational technology startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2025, the company develops artificial intelligence language learning tools for children, specifically integrating AI language buddies named Andy and Annie into popular gaming environments like Minecraft and Roblox. The enterprise recently participated in the Fall 2025 batch of Y Combinator and successfully secured seed funding from both Y Combinator and Pioneer Fund in October 2025. Prior to launching this venture, Kim spent six years working as a Machine Learning Engineer across major consumer technology platforms at Google and YouTube. He holds a Master of Science in Machine Learning from the University of California, San Diego. Kim's current focus centers on combining his technical engineering background with interactive gaming to advance early childhood language acquisition.
