Jai Yarlagadda

Jai Yarlagadda is the Co-Founder and CTO of Mica AI, an artificial intelligence startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He established the B2B technology venture alongside Achyuta Iyengar and Bharadwaj Swaminathan in 2024, leading a three-person team through the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch to automate enterprise data pipelines. Previously, he served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at GenerAI, where he focused on developing and scaling video understanding AI models. Before that, Yarlagadda worked as a Software Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, building scalable enterprise software systems utilized by tens of thousands of users. He received his academic training at the University of California, Berkeley, studying physics and computer science. His technical background centers on leveraging machine learning to resolve complex data processing challenges and driving technical strategy for early-stage software ventures.
