Jai Relan

Jai Relan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Relling, an artificial intelligence video research lab, and is based in Toronto, Canada. Founded in 2025 alongside Anya Singh, the company is developing AI systems for multimodal learning and is backed by Y Combinator as part of its Summer 2025 batch under partner Brad Flora. Prior to his current venture, Relan served as the Chief Product Officer at Rollup and worked on post-acquisition integration at Clara Labs. A two-time startup founder and former venture capitalist, he has operated within early-stage technology companies supported by prominent investment firms such as Sequoia Capital and Andreessen Horowitz. His operational background also includes hardware engineering experience building radios at AnySignal. Relan's diverse career focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence, product strategy, and early-stage venture development across multiple technology ecosystems.
