Jahangir Mohammed

Jahangir Mohammed is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cone, a Y Combinator-backed B2B software company based in San Francisco providing project management workflows for professional service businesses. Before launching this venture, he co-founded the programmatic job advertising platform Joveo, successfully scaling the organization from four to three hundred employees while achieving product-market fit. His earlier career features executive technical and product leadership roles, including Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering, at major technology corporations like Adobe, HBO, and Next Jump. Mohammed earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, where he co-authored widely cited ethnicity-detection research presented at the ACM SIGKDD conference. Drawing upon a decade of experience engineering distributed systems and high-availability platforms, he currently focuses on building work operating systems while actively advising and mentoring early-stage startups.
