Jad Rahbany

Jad Rahbany is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Tank Payments, a fintech startup based in Austin, Texas. Founded in 2022 and part of the Y Combinator S22 batch, the 10-person company recently secured a $3.3 million seed round to accelerate payments for the trucking industry. Before launching Tank Payments, Rahbany worked as a Software Development Engineer II on the Alexa AI team at Amazon from 2021 to 2022, following earlier product management and engineering roles at the company. His prior experience includes serving as an Associate Product Manager at Google in 2017 and working at a startup before its acquisition by Amazon, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University. Rahbany currently focuses on leveraging his engineering expertise from major technology firms to build specialized financial infrastructure and software for freight businesses.
