Jacob Bland

Jacob Bland is the co-founder and CEO of Saldor, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup based in San Francisco, California. He established the company in 2024 alongside co-founder Jack Cameron, subsequently participating in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch and scaling the team to two employees. Saldor initially launched as an AI-powered web scraping platform designed to extract data for retrieval-augmented generation models and global trade automation. Prior to founding Saldor, Bland served as a product manager and technical lead at Crusoe Cloud, and he previously worked as a member of the internal data team at Square. During his career, he has developed expertise in building storage solutions and collaborating with industry organizations like Together AI. His current focus remains on advancing data extraction technologies and developing highly scalable infrastructure for complex, early-stage artificial intelligence applications.
