Jack Cameron is the cofounder and Chief Technology Officer of Saldor, an artificial intelligence data extraction startup based in San Francisco, California. He established the two-person company as part of Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch to develop intelligent web crawling tools specifically designed for machine learning pipelines. In his current executive role, he directly manages the startup's operational scaling, process improvement, and technical execution. Prior to founding Saldor, Cameron worked as a software engineer at Crusoe Energy, where he built and scaled specialized storage infrastructure solutions for the Crusoe Cloud platform. During Saldor's initial development phase, he collaborated with prominent AI infrastructure organizations, including Together AI and Mosaic ML, to optimize complex data retrieval systems. Cameron's professional background remains focused on engineering robust data pipelines and retrieval-augmented generation architectures to supply high-quality training data for AI application developers.
