Ivan Kirigin is a Founder and Partner at Tango.vc, an early-stage venture capital firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. A two-time Y Combinator alumnus, he founded the payment platform Tipjoy, which was acquired by PayPal in 2013, and the referral analytics startup YesGraph, which was acquired by Lyft in 2017. Following the YesGraph acquisition, he joined Lyft's growth team, building upon his earlier engineering and product management experience at major technology companies including Facebook, Dropbox, and iRobot. He previously studied computer science and robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, establishing the technical foundation for his current venture capital focus on machine learning, automation, and robotics startups. At Tango.vc, he recently helped close a $100 million fund in early 2025 to back technical founders, and he spoke on AI-robotics convergence at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024.
