Ishan Mukherjee

Ishan Mukherjee is the Founder of Rox, an artificial intelligence enterprise software startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before launching his current venture, he worked as a software engineer at Meta, focusing on early-stage product development and core engineering. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Stanford University. Under his leadership, Rox emerged from stealth mode in September 2024 with $50 million in venture capital funding led by Sequoia Capital, building upon earlier seed backing from Y Combinator. The B2B sales technology platform subsequently expanded its market presence, reaching 10,000 active enterprise users by January 2026 and releasing its upgraded version 2.0 software two months later. Mukherjee currently focuses on scaling developer tools and business productivity software by bridging advanced machine learning capabilities with modern enterprise workflows.
