Igor Marinelli

Igor Marinelli is the Co-founder and CEO of Tractian, an AI-powered industrial IoT company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Before launching the startup, he built his foundation in software engineering and frontline industrial maintenance, holding technical roles at the enterprise software corporation SAP and the Brazilian paper manufacturer Klabin. Under his executive leadership, Tractian participated in the highly competitive Y Combinator Winter 2021 batch and subsequently scaled its predictive maintenance technology to serve hundreds of multinational manufacturing plants. In August 2023, Marinelli directed the company through a $45 million Series B funding round led by General Catalyst, bringing the firm's total venture capital raised to over $60 million. His current professional focus centers on expanding Tractian's global operations and advancing specialized hardware and software solutions designed to continuously monitor machine health and prevent critical equipment downtime.
