IAN EDWARDS

Ian Edwards is the Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Parley, an AI legal technology startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2024, the three-employee company automates document-heavy drafting processes for flat-fee immigration attorneys and recently secured seed funding from Y Combinator and Broadshade Investments. Following its participation in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch, Parley launched specialized visa writing products that have been adopted by legal practices including Erickson Immigration Group and Murthy Law Firm. Prior to establishing his current venture, Edwards served as a software engineer at the early-stage technology startups Porter and Govdash. He also previously worked on growth and generative AI initiatives as a software engineer at LinkedIn. Edwards currently focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline complex legal drafting workflows and scale business-to-business software solutions for the immigration sector.
