Ian Cinnamon is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Apex Space, a satellite manufacturing company based in Los Angeles, California. Before launching Apex, he co-founded Synapse Technology Corporation, an artificial intelligence security firm that was acquired by Palantir Technologies, where he subsequently served as Director of Strategy. Under his leadership, Apex has raised over $100 million in venture funding, including a $95 million Series B round in June 2024 to scale its production capabilities. The enterprise successfully deployed its first satellite bus, Aries, into orbit aboard a SpaceX Transporter-10 mission in March 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University. Cinnamon currently focuses his professional career on advancing hardware manufacturing, aerospace technology, and national defense applications.
