Hussein Elkheshen

Hussein Elkheshen is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Sakneen, a real estate technology platform, and is based in Cairo, Egypt. He established the PropTech startup in 2019, guiding it through the Y Combinator Winter 2020 batch and helping secure a $1.1 million seed funding round to digitize regional property markets. Alongside his work in the property sector, he serves as Co-founder and US Admissions Director at Apex Counseling, a specialized education admissions service. Elkheshen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2019, following a 2018 Global CapEx internship at Tesla where he negotiated $1.6 million in savings. His professional background centers on leveraging software engineering and technical leadership to build scalable real estate management software and streamline educational consulting.
