Hugo Tarlé

Hugo Tarlé is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Beyond Aero, a climate tech and aerospace manufacturer based in Toulouse, France. He holds an advanced degree in aerospace engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO and previously worked in aviation startups and consulting before launching his current aerospace venture. At Beyond Aero, Tarlé oversees operations for the development of the "Beyond One" hydrogen-electric business aircraft. The company is supported by over $24 million in total venture funding from institutional investors including Y Combinator, Giant Ventures, and Initialized Capital. Under his operational leadership, the startup successfully completed France's first manned flight of a hydrogen-electric aircraft in February 2024 and subsequently secured a $20 million Series A funding round. His current professional focus centers on scaling hardware manufacturing and advancing hydrogen propulsion technologies to decarbonize the private aviation sector.
